HOW TO WRITE FOR A YEARBOOK

Important Reminders
This yearbook is all about you and your

experiences in Ateneo Grade School. Ask a friend to write about you or his fondest memory of you. The write-up must have a total of

5 8 sentences.

Its your story to tell and your story to read through years from now.

Mr. Christopher Sibyl Q. Benedicto

What is it you like about this person? Is he intelligent? Creative? Understanding? Whatever the case may be, write in his article what you like about him and admire most about his personality.

Include the best things about him

Talents Awards or Recognitions

Add some sparkle

You may include exciting

testimonials and interviews. You may also incorporate something unique about that person. All these will definitely make your write-up more fun to read.

Use only the nickname of the person in the write-up. Dont put the whole name again.

English please!
The write-up can ONLY be written in

pure English. If you really want to use a word in the vernacular or if you must drop a foreign word or phrase, enclose it in quotation marks. Avoid informal languages like Jejemon or Bekimon.

Make it short and sweet

You are not writing a novel. Nobody wants

to read a very long write-up about someone that can be summarized in just a few exciting paragraphs.
Remember: 5 8 sentences only.

but dont write like a Grade 1 student!

Expound your sentences.

Refrain from submitting a write-up with a

creative format (ex: shape poetry).

Write-ups with creative formats dependent

on spacing and lines cannot be guaranteed that the format will be retained in the final yearbook.

Avoid invectives or insults.

Dont be clich. Avoid the following words/phrase:

epic amazing memorable funny great meaningful

nice unforgettable wonderful awesome magis THE BEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!
