Consist of unprocessed facts including

Information is data that has been processed by computer

Is an additional part of todays information system. It allows computer to connect and share information. To be computer competent , end users need to understand Information Technology

General Purpose (basic applications) are widely used in nearly all career areas. Special Purpose Applications (specialized applications) focus on specific disciples and occupations. these program include graphics, audio and video, multimedia, web authoring, and artificial intelligence programs.
