• Law that allows up to $1000 (joint filing)
and $500 for single to re-allocate AZ State
taxes to private education
• An additional $400 can go to public school
 Why Give?
• Directed Tax Dollars allow you to spend your tax
liability the way you want vs. state deciding
• Helps students receive a Private/Catholic
education

• Reduces tuition burden of parents
• Eases overcrowding and overall costs of public
schools

 Corporate Tax Credit
• All transfers and KDG children are eligible
for over $14.4M in Corporate tax credit
funds
• Money received stays with childer
throughout schooling based on financial
need and availability
• Corporations can re-allocate all or a
portion of their tax obligation to the
program

• 2007 allocations totaled $99K
• 163 contributors, no matching
• School need $314K
– Received $246K ($99K direct;$75K general
and $72K corporate)
