Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP)


The FFVP provides an additional free fresh fruit or vegetable snack.

Received $10.8 million 2011-12 (FY) funding 315 schools at $60 per student. Anticipate $14 million for the 2012-13 (FY) approximately 400 schools.

Requirements to apply:

Be an elementary school Operate the National School Lunch Program Have 50% or greater of enrolled students eligible for free and reduced price meals
