Analysis of satellite laser ranging (SLR) data indicates that the Earth's dynamic
oblateness (J

) has undergone significant variations during the past 28 years. The
dominant signatures in the observed variations in J
2
are (1) a secular decrease with
a rate of approximately 2.75 10

, (2) seasonal annual variations with a
mean amplitude of 2.9 10

, (3) significant interannual variations with timescales
of 46 years, and (4) a variation with period of about 21 years and an amplitude of
about 1.4 10

with minimum in December 1988. Two large interannual
variations are related to the strong El Nio-Southern Oscillation events during the
periods of 19861991 and 19962002, and it appears that another interannual cycle
may have started in late 2002. The superposition of the decadal variation on the
interannual signal makes the J 2 fluctuation appear to be anomalously large during
the 19962002 period. Contemporary models of the mass redistributions in the
atmosphere, ocean, and surface water can explain a major part of the 4- to 6-year
fluctuations. However, the cause of the decadal variation remains unknown.

ABSTRACT
The Suns shape is sensitive to the influence of gravity, rotation, and local turbulence and magnetic
fields in its outer atmosphere. A careful measurement of this shape has long been sought to better
understand the solar structure and its change during the 11 yr solar cycle. Numerous disparate
measurements of the solar oblateness or the fractional difference between equatorial and polar radii
have been difficult to interpret, in part because this quantity is much smaller than terrestrial
atmospheric seeing and most instrumental noise sources. In 1997 the Michelson Doppler Imager
(MDI) aboard the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) obtained a precise measurement of
the oblateness from above the atmosphere by utilizing a spacecraft roll procedure to remove
instrumental influences. In 2001 this technique was repeated, and we report here on the detection of
a timevariable solar shape from these data. The changing oblateness we find from 1997 to 2001 is
smaller than the apparent discrepancy between earlier ground-based observations, but is
significantly larger than MDIs astrometric
measurement uncertainty. The shape change appears to be anticorrelated with the observed
helioseismic variability. This fact and our MDI measurements suggest that the outer solar
atmosphere expands nonhomologously during the cycle. It is possible that solar cycle changes in the
turbulent pressure in the outer atmosphere can account for both the optical limb change and the
helioseismic acoustic global solar shape change.

We explain plate tectonics in the Earth by differential rotation as shown in
this combined map image of the Earth and Jupiter. This next image
explain very clearly how plate tectonics is affected by differential rotation.
This combined map of Jupiter and the Earth clear (1) why coastline of
South America and Africa are similar like a jigsaw (2) why there are
found fossils, plants and animals similar rocks and minerals on the both
side (3) what is the actual motion of the matter of continents plates. For a
very long time the whole Earth's matter move forward and backward just
like or similar that we see on Jupiter under the violent effect of differential
rotation between east and west. So the such geometrical shape of
continents is result of long time motion of matter by differential rotation.
There was no super continent and the jigsaw type shape of continent is
because of motion of matter under differential rotation that give very
special shape to the continents. After a long time continuously churning of
matter under differential rotation the shaping of continents came in such
a form. So the idea of super continent is illogical, unscientific and
completely a wrong concept. From the Sun, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune this
continuous process of differential rotation finally in the Earth give a very
special shape to continents.

THIS AFFECT ON OCEANIC RIDGES
The evidence which gave rise to the theory of continental drift --
more correctly called plate tectonics -- includes the following:
-The coasts of the continents surrounding the Atlantic ocean could, if the
continents were moved closer, fit together like a jigsaw puzzle.
-Living animals in widely separated lands are similar. For example India and
Madagascar have similar mammals, which are quite different from those in
Africa, even though it is now near to Madagascar.
-Fossil plants in India, South Africa, Australia, Antarctica and South America
are similar to each other. This so-called Glossopteris flora is quite different
from plants found in other parts of the world at the same time.
-The same applies to fossil animals.
-There are numerous geological similarities between eastern South America
and western Africa.
-Apparent Polar Wandering: Paleomagnetism tells us how far from the poles
rocks were when they formed, by looking at the angle of their magnetic field.
The story told by different continents is contradictory, and can only be
explained if we assume the continents have moved over time.
-There are ridges in the floors of the main oceans.

CONCLUSIONS
No planet, and their moon also, star, black hole, galaxy i.e. all celestial objects
and also universe rotate on its axis. The shape of all these celestial objects and
universe oscillate between two shapes confocal oblate spheroids and concentric
spheres geometrical shapes. Every celestial objects and universe oscillate from
confocal oblate spheroid (E) to concentric sphere (S) and from concentric
sphere (S) to confocal oblate spheroid (E) geometrical shapes in very ideal
state. This oscillation theory of all these celestial objects and universe is called
ESE oscillation theory. The base of this oscillatory theory is differential
rotation, retrograde orbiting, expansion and contraction of celestial objects,
ideal geological model and model of dark matter and dark energy.
