Udbhabani-2014 is an innovation contest on civil engineering dedicated to the young and innovative minds across the nation. It inspires the young budding civil engineers to explore the creative side of their minds to come up with innovative ideas and solutions to mankinds many problems. It acts as a platform and enables students to present and share their ideas at a preliminary level. It encourages the participation of undergraduate students across the nation to take part in a series of contests which will be testing their innovative minds.

Objectives
To provide a platform where students speak and generate ideas, those are accepted by teachers and the civil engineering industry. To motivate & inspire students to think of their own and start contributing towards the country. To provide a benchmark where students are exposed to the industry and its needs. Here we are in search for the most radical and innovative civil engineering papers from under graduates. All the presentation in this category must be backed up by a working model which is to be presented before the judges panel for evaluation.

A thermocol square plate will be taken to represent the slab. The slab will be divided in unequal four panels. The load on each panel will be given. From that the Ast required and the Ast provided will be calculated .The participant will ask for the no of bars(sticks) of specific dia from a supplier(from us).From that we can easily know how much economic is that slab. After that the participant will attach those sticks in that thermocol plate by glue(to represent an actual reinforcement of slab).

A Multi-speciality parkomat cum commercial complex is to be designed for execution in a semiurban locality , with available land size (say 80 m x 50 m) with given data.

design a household water filtration system that is capable of purifying polluted water sample collected from the river Ganges. The final product must be suitable for drinking.
