The ICD will provide transportation of containers by rail to/from gateway ports of Mumbai and Gujarat. This will ease the road traffic congestion of Delhi and the trade will be benefited.

NEW FACILITIES BEING INTRODUCED

DOUBLE STACK FACILITY AND HUB FOR OTHER NORTH INDIAS ICD MMLP will serve as double stack container loading and unloading and serve as HUB for all North Indias ICD i.e. TKD, Dadri, Moradabad, DDL, KKU, RE etc.

 DOMESTIC CARGO AND BREAK BULK CARGO

A separate zone will be developed for handling of domestic cargo/containers and break bulk cargo
