Introduction
National Institute of Science & Technology
Definition -:
Opto-electronic sensors are the solid state devices used to detect
which effect light beams either interrupting the beam or reflecting
the beam back to its source.
Principle of Operation-:
Opto-electronic sensors make use of the physical
properties of light sensitive materials. sensors change their
electrical features based upon the intensity of light striking
the receiver.

FIBER SENSOR
Optical fiber can also be used in applications
such as sensing and measurement besides
communication.
