INCREASED NUMBER OF
DOMESTIC AIRLINES
India has one of the fastest growing rates for
aviation. With more domestic airlines entering the
market, it increases competition and lowers ticket
prices. An increase in travel also helps the airport
collect more in landing fees and gate rentals
thereby allowing the airport to make upgrades
and have the airport look nicer and newer. I also
think more airlines are being formed as India is
becoming a richer nation. Many corporations are
moving in and hiring people from India so the
people's standard of living has started to
improve. That allows them to have more money
to spend and therefore more people are starting
to fly to different cities. With the many low-cost

INDIA’S IMPROVING ECONOMY

People have more money in hand thus

more people travel by air .
More goods are also transported by air.
Development in economy means more
contruction of runways, airports, etc. thus
more planes can fly.
Due to the improving industries, more and
more foreign companies have invested. The
owners of these companies, the
emplooyes, etc also travel by air.
Better quality of fuel is available for the
planes as now India can afford more
expensive oil.

If the aircraft is unable
to reach the land, then
it’ll have to make an
emergency landing on
water which is known
as DITCHING. The
cabin crew must not
panic and must guide
the passengers
towards the
emergency exit and
evacuate them as soon
as possible.
BELLY LANDING
In belly, landing sometimes one part of
the landing gears deploy, while the
others don’t. Thus we can have a NOSE-
UP belly landing with only the nose gear
down or NOSE DOWN landing- with the
main gear down and nose gear up. In
that case the crew should be calm and
alert. By managing the passengers in
the right way the panic can be avoided.
