APPLICATION OF ADHESIVES

Simple Gluing: Single layer is applied on the support

surface/tiles depending on the formats of the tile &
types of the tile.

Double Gluing : Application of the Mortar/Adhesives on

both the surface of support & tiles

METHOD OF APPLICATION OF ADHESIVE

The surface to be tiled should be sound & thoroughly

cleaned. Old surface should be free from wax, grease, polish
etc.

Pour one bag (20kg) in approx 6-8 litres of clean water

(Recommended proportion approx 3:1 of powder to water
volume).

At site addition of water to be adjusted to attain desired

consistency

Dont put water into the powder. Always put powder into the
water

Always mix the required quantity ,which can be consumed

within the prescribed pot life adopting the mixing proportion
mentioned

Spread the adhesive as per the guideline & use the

appropriate notched trowel for suitable size of the tile.

METHOD OF APPLICATION OF ADHESIVE

Consumption of Adhesives depends on the support

planarity & level.

Strictly apply the adhesives paste which can be tiled within

20minutes.

Intermittently touch the Adhesive paste on substrate by

finger. If the adhesives sticks to the finger then continue
tiling. And if not then scrap off the adhesives & apply new
coat.

Start placing the tiles on the surface to be tiled.

Tap the tiles properly to ensure complete coverage of the

tiles & to avoid any possibility of air voids.

Keep joints between two tiles using spacers.

Allow tiling to set for 24 hrs.

EASY FIX : PRECAUTION & LIMITATION

Always add powder to water and not water to powder.

Do not add more water than recommended.

Do not add sand or Concrete at site

Before doing tiling ,ensure that the tiling surface is in

sound condition
