A STUDY ON THE EFFECTIVENESS OF

SELECTION PROCESS AT RENAISSANCE SAOG

Introduction
The success and growth of a business enterprise has
often been linked to the performance of those
individuals who have been selected by the
organization for performing different tasks and duties.
It has often been stated in various numerous research
studies that the underachievement or the failure of the
business organization has a lot to do with the quality
of employees selected due to the reason that poor
selection methods result in the organization having
staff that although methods is requisite knowledge,
skills and qualities often lack the willingness to
perform tasks and duties in an efficient and effective
manner

Rationale
The process of recruitment and selection as noted
in the preceding paragraph have highlighted the
importance and relevance of these two processes
for organizations in today's globalized competitive
environment and if an organization selects the
right employee having adequate skills as well as
willingness to perform the tasks then the
organization will be able to ensure that the
employees performance will improve the overall
organizational performance and therefore such a
study on the effectiveness of the selection process
will yield a ton understanding of this process

There needs to be more effective support
towards the selection process from the top
management of the organization as these
could ensure that the entire process is taken
more seriously and that the organization has
effective selection procedure that can help you
to select the appropriate employees having
the right skills as well as the willingness and
thereby reduce and avoid any form of calls of
unwanted or ineffective selections being
undertaken within the organization.

Conclusion
To sum up, it may be stated that the
selection is an important process to be
undertaken within the organization and In
the case of Renaissance SAOG can be
stated that the selection process is
effective with respect to the factors that
have been mentioned above however few
recommendations and improvements are
needed.
