One of every six women worldwide has been a
victim of intimate partner violence (IPV)
IPV: actual or threatened physical, sexual, or
psychologic or emotional abuse by a spouse, exspouse, boyfriend, ex-boyfriend, girlfriend, exgirlfriend, date, or cohabiting partner
