Objectives of the Foundation:

• Complex support for the people with

disadvantages, who are out of the world of
labor and can not guarantee their living and
subsistence in the Microregion of Middle-Tisza
– rural development efforts
• To support of self-organisation of local
societies – encouragement of co-operation
between NGOs and local governments by
means of info-communication

Basic tasks of the Foundation:

• Stimulating the skills of disadvantaged groups
in the field of employment; involvement of
unemployed workers into the personal, social,
alternative and rural development
• Help to the local society in NGO development
• Strengthening the co-operation between
NGOs and local governments el
• Guaranteeing the conditions of info-
communication culture and ensuring”e-points
for local communities plus e-services

Community functions

1. Socialization, to implement community values

to the members of the community;
2. Economic prosperity living and subsistence
possibilities – for the members of the community;
3. Public participation, to meet the general
expectations for social and societal life demands;
4. Social control, to follow the community values
and regulations;
5. Mutual support,to implement the social tasks
which are extremely large or imminent for an
individual (Warren, 1957.)

Our main duty and common responsibility is: the
modernisation of PERSONALITY

•Enhancement of level of education;

•Enhancement of informing people with up-to-date news;
•Diminishing sense of fatalism and helplessness;
•Strengthening human autonomy;
•Strengthening the motivation against passivity.

The expression reflects on democratic

attitude – currently this means local
community: neighborhood, settlement,
microregion region which is able to determine
its development potentials , and is able to
initiate new developments

Different levels of development:

Regional development its main principle is regional polic

(national and international coordination), its main objective
is the enhancement of regional competitiveness mainly by
infrastructure development;
Rural development with its basics: successful local
society partnership between local government and other
actors its aim is development by thinking;
Community development locality, its basics is a
functioning community involvement of neighborhood,
settlement, microregion strengthening public participation
democracy and partnership-building.

Microregion TISZAFÜRED:
Jász-Nagykun- Szolnok county

„Inside periphery”: 3 small towns, 10 villages

• Economically disadvantaged,
• Employment difficulties,
• Rural character
The microregion is one of the most disadvantaged areas of
the country:
• Information vacuum
• „market competences” are missing
• Minor lobby power

Our task is to improve the inhabitant‘s:

• information level with actual news,
• possibilities in public participation
• general and professional education level
