developed through time.

Reading: Students will make text to text and text to world connections to
explore the lines of inquiry. Students will be exposed to various media
such as videos, books and articles which will be discussed and analyzed.
Reading strategies like synthesising and looking for important information
will be developed through the research process.
Writing:
Students will develop specific language to compare and contrast different
media and situations.
Viewing and Presenting and Listening and Speaking:
Students will evaluate the way they present ideas both visually and orally.
They will inquire into different forms to present work.
Students will look at listening strategies to focus during class discussions
as well as group work discussions. They will also conduct interviews to
develop their listening skills.
Students will evaluate different sources of information to gain a deeper
understanding of the central idea and lines of inquiry.
