Objective
Decreases the paper work in the election process.
Allows voter to caste their vote residing in any
constituency within his/her native state.

Polling Process
Voting system include following steps:
Voter identification through voter photo ID.
Voting and recording of votes cast.
Vote counting.
Publication of election results.

Polling Process
The voter is identified from the voters list and records
his presence by a signature or thumb impression
The Presiding Officer presses the Ballot button on
the Control Unit permitting one vote
The voter then proceeds to the polling cubicle and
after perusing the ballot paper on the Ballot Unit,
presses the key against the candidate of his choice

A red lamp glows indicating to the voter that his vote
has been cast in favour of that candidate
The casting of the vote results in a beep in the
Control Unit indicating to the Presiding Officer that
a vote has been cast
He then proceeds to release another vote by pressing
the Ballot button and the process continues

Save the retina and fingerprint information on to the
external chip for voters from different constituency.
Do not match with the database.
Allow voter to cast his/her vote.
Decision for validity of the votes from different
constituency will be made during counting.

Information on all external chips of different
constituency will be integrated on to the single
database.
Recognize voters from different region.
Match the retina and fingerprint information with the
appropriate database.
If matched, segregate the information constituency
wise.
Add the total number of votes.

Conclusion
By implementing the advanced electronic voting
machine, the election process can be made simpler
and efficient.
Also allows the voter to cast his vote by residing at
any political region within the state.
The total estimated budget is Rs.25000.
