Rajya Sabha is the Upper House of
Parliament.
Maximum members of Rajya sabha are 250.
Members of Rajya Sabha are elected by the
Legislative Assemblies of the various States
Twelve of Rajya Sabha members are
nominated by the President who have
earned distinction in the fields of literature,
art, science and social service.
For becoming a member of the Rajya Sabha,
The members have to be at least 30 years of
