STRESS
How often have you had a headache in the last twelve
months?How many stomachaches have you
had?Have you sometimes found it difficult to
breathe?Have you had any skin problems?How often
have you felt sad or nervous for no good reason?How
often have you wanted to cry? How often have you
got angry?
If your answer to three or more of these questions is
''too often'', you are probably suffering from stress,
you are not alone.Over half of the adult population
has had stress-related symptoms in the last year and
many of them have needed help of some kinds.Stress
is now the major health problem of our times.

STRESS
Stress is a bad disease. Nowadays, with the modern life, people have to
struggle with many factors that effect their health. We work very hard and
somtimes we are disappointed about the results. Actually, we should relax
and make our lives better. Entertaining with the family or friends help us
realise that the life is very nice and we need protect it from sadness and
worry. Turn off your PC and go out with your friends. I am sure that you will
be happy and comfortable. Nobody can choose future but we can make the
nice future by things that we have got for a long time.

What is a healthy lifestyle?


Having a healthy lifestyle is not just about eating healthy and
exercising. There is lots of information out there that talks
about the importance of having a healthy lifestyle and this
often refers to having a work/life balance. As a teenager, you
may have a lot of things that you are trying to balance such as
school or study, friendships/relationships, extracurricular
activities, sports, part-time job, and responsibilities at home.
Sometimes this can start to feel like a huge juggling act and
can easily become overwhelming. Thats why its important to
find balance in your life which is really what having a healthy

What can I do to have a healthier


lifestyle?

So, what are the important aspects of having a healthy


lifestyle and how can you start to develop habits now that
will set the foundations for a healthy future.

Diet
If youre trying to eat healthy, a few simple tips are:
- Drink plenty of water
- Eat a balance of meat/protein, whole grains, fruit and
vegetables daily
- Dont skip breakfast. Eat something for breakfast
everyday
- Avoiding eating just because youre bored
- Eat regular meals
- Eat appropriate sized meal portions for your

Sleep
Getting enough sleep will also help increase your energy levels
to help you get through the day. Some tips for getting a good
nights sleep include:
- Have a routine for going to bed, e.g. having a shower, having
a warm drink, etc.
- Close the blinds or curtains before you go to bed and
minimize any light sources in the bedroom
- Turn off the TV and if you need to have music to help you
sleep, make sure you keep the volume down
- Turn off your phone.

Physical
Activity

Exercising regularly is part of having a healthy lifestyle.


Physical activity helps build a strong body and mind. People,
who exercise in conjunction with eating a balanced diet, benefit
from a healthy physique, a mind that can think more clearly
and are more likely to have less stress.Take regular exercise,
dont smoke, dont drink too much, make sure you have regular
exercise everyday, then your body will be healthy and strong.
Keep-fit is very good for you. It can help you to stay healthy,
help you to stay young looking. And of course it can help you to
have a long life. Physical activity is also an effective way to
manage moods and is a really good lifestyle choice to improve
your overall wellbeing.

Play
Another important part of having a healthy lifestyle is
remembering to play. Just taking time to laugh, have fun and
being around people who make you feel good is part of having
balance in your life. Take time to learn about what makes you
feel good and remember to include some of those things in your
day.

Its all about balance

Forming good habits of a healthy lifestyle will be something


that you will take with you into your adult years.

TOPIC 2: DAILY CHORES

Everymorning, I get up at 5:30 AM


First, I brush my teeth and wash my face. Then I have
breakfast which is prepared by my mom. Its very delicious and
healthy. I often spend a few minutes running before having
breakfast on Wednesday or Friday or whenever I have free time.
Second, I go to school by motorbike and arrive there at about
6:45AM. My class starts at 7AM and ends at 11:15AM. After the
class, I go home to have lunch. After lunch, I take a nap about
one hour. When I get up, I must finish my homework before 6PM
and help my mother prepare dinner.
Finally, I watch TV or do something else like reading some
books, playing videogames and so on. Sometimes, I go out with
my friends until 10:30 PM.

TOPIC 3: EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND PERSONAL GOALS


There are many ways to lead our life to success and achieve our goals.
Some people try to get achievement without university, the others spend
the next four years in universities after high school. I myself want to attend
university because I think that higher education is necessary for my goals.
My universitys name is HCM City University of Transport. My major is
navigation.
In next four years, I have some goals for my study and my future job.
First, I want to (finish my university education) graduate with good points.
To make it come true, I had to follow a timetable and study hard.
Second, I want to improve my language skills and soft skill. Im attending
an English class and joining some English club. I hope my communicative
skill will be as good as I expect.
And in the far future, I want to have a well-paid job. So from now, I must try
more and more to lead my goals come true.

TOPIC 8: FUTURE
Have you ever thought about the future. It is maybe a better
world with a lots of new inventions which served people. A
world we can not imagine in this time. But, with the
development of technology, I think wars bewteen nations
will be the big proplem in the future. In next 100 years,
energy will be exhausted. Nations will attack each other for
energy source. More and more smart weapons will be
invented. They could destroy a large area or even a nation.
The world will have many people died. Besides,homeless
people will inscrease. There is only one way to solve it.
Nations must coporate together to find new energy, maybe
solar, wind, wave powerNations must limit to produce
weapons. Be together, we will make a better world.

Travel
I live in Quang Tri province and of the most attractive places
in my hometown is Cua Tung beach. It has a long smoothy
coast with cool clear water. We can see the seashore from a
long distance. It is very comfortable to swim and sunbathe.
The weather in my province is usually sunny with a high
temperature. Therefore, lying under the sun, of course with
an umbrella, watching people play volleyball, soccer and
some water sports is an intelligent choice. Moreover, it is a

We can dance, sing and enjoy grilled seafood with some beer
and cocktail. Then, in the next day, we can see a wonderful
sight. It is the dawn at sea. The sun, with the color of a
burning flame, is just above the sea and it reflects through
the water. You should try it at least one time in your life. Last
but not least, it is very far from HCM city to our province but
if we travel by airplane, it just takes us 1 hour for the flight
Hue city and 2 hours to catch a coach from there to the
beach. Although it is quite expensive to travel but the hotel,
food and other facilities are cheap so the total cost is not
high. And if you like, I will be your tour guide freely. Hope

To live and work well we must have good health. Health is one of the
most precious things which everyone should show consideration for.
If we are good healthy, we will do everything we want. That was
amazing. But in reality, we do not really know how to get good health.

If we want to keep fit and stay health, I think we should do these


things:
First, we should eat healthy food like fruits, vegetables, fish, eggs, and
drink enough water. These kinds of food provide vitamins and help us
better immune system. We should not eat too much meat, fat, as well as
smoke and drink too much alcohol or coffee. They cause heart disease
and damage health.

Second, we should not use the computer for long time and stay up late because
it will cause fatigue, loss of concentration, memory loss. We should have the
habit of getting up early, do exercise regularly and choose a suitable sports
such as jogging, soccer, badminton, swimming, and yoga. They will help us
strong, relax and get in shape. If you are a busy person with job, I think you
should rest when you are tired and do yoga in free time, it will help improve the
health and relieve stress.

Finally, we should regularly check our health. If you have problems


with health, I think you should not go out and do too many things at
that time because it will make your condition worse. Take a break and
go to your doctor to know about your health problems and timely
treatment.
I think all of these are really necessary to protect our health. If you
want to have good health, let's do that right now.
