The total area etched in the ground plane is 9.47% of the ground area
Compared to antenna mentioned above , 3 times more area is etched
from the ground plane to create defected ground plane .

CONCLUSION
Developed a novel single layer proximity fed gap
coupled 2x2 microstrip array antennas.dual band
In the first array a arrow headed dumbbell shaped
slot is etched in the ground plane, +Z +Z
In the second array a hexagon shaped slot is etched
in the ground plane, +Z, -Z.
