WHAT IS GOD LIKE?

God is the Creator of everything.
Nehemiah 9:6
You alone are the LORD. You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, and
all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in
them. You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship you.
God is All-Powerful
Romans 9
19You will say to me then, Why does He still find fault? For who resists His will?
20 On the contrary, who are you, O man, who answers back to God? The thing
molded will not say to the molder, Why did you make me like this, will it? 21Or
does not the potter have a right over the clay, to make from the same lump one
vessel for honorable use and another for common use?

WHAT IS GOD LIKE?

1Chronicles 29:11
Yours, LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the
majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is
yours. Yours, LORD, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over
all.
Ephesians 3:20
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine,
according to his power that is at work within us,

GOD IS ALL KNOWING.

Hebrews 4:13
Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is
uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must
give account.
1 John 3:20
If our hearts condemn us, we know that God is greater than our
hearts, and he knows everything.

GOD IS HOLY
1 Samuel 2:2
"There is no one holy like the LORD; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like
our God.
God is A Spirit
John 4:24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.
God is a Person You can know
Psalm 145:18 and James 4:8
God is a Loving Father
1 John 3:1See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called
children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that
it did not know him.

TOO GREAT TO LIVE IN

TEMPLES
Acts 17:24,25 and 28
The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of
heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human
hands.25And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed
anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and
everything else.
From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the
whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history
and the boundaries of their lands.27God did this so that they would
seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is
not far from any one of us.28For in him we live and move and
have our being.bAs some of your own poets have said, We are his

LOVING FATHER
Zephaniah 3:10
From beyond the rivers of Cush my worshipers, my scattered
people, will bring me offerings.
