OPM Process Execution

Demonstration Considerations
Item revisions can be yielded for any validity rule but creating
batch for a item revision requires validity rue for the item
revision
Currently the profiles which have been converted to parameters
are applicable only at organization level and not at user level
In 11i we had pending allocation. Now for even automatic
consumption ingredients detailed reservations is a must. The
same is true for pending product lots.
The Reservations and Mover Orders cycle is a slightly longer
cycle compared to the current 11i batch cycle.

OPM Process Execution

Demonstration Considerations
Decision on how the warehouses and plants would be moved
as inventory organizations or subinventories
Plant code is replaced by Organization in all the forms
New fields for Laboratory Batch, View Validity Rules by Cost,
and Recipe Description are added to the Create Batch Window
Users should close batches as much as possible

Create and update Reservation
Several of the MSCA transactions are now moved to a new
responsibility (MES Operations)
