SYNOPSIS
There are various factors to consider in
selecting the ELT materials and
resources.
In this topic, we will look at how you can
effectively use the materials and
resources selected by planning
appropriate activities.
Remember that teaching aids can be
incorporated into any stage of the lesson,
not just the presentation stage.

Select appropriate materials and resources
for use in the English language class.
Evaluate the teaching and learning
materials.
Use appropriate and suitable teaching and
learning materials in accordance with the
pupils level.

interests need to be considered as well
as their ability.
When considering the suitable level of
materials, we need to think about, for
example, how much new vocabulary is
included, and what grammar structures
predominate, and how adult the topics
and content are.
