 Framework Implementation for eCare B

The EDS automation framework for eCare B has been implemented across
two sites:

Test Execution will be performed in the UK due to licenses constraints

Test Script creation (translation from existing manual test scripts) will be done in
India.
Test Debug will be done in India and the UK results will be visible from both
locations via Quality Centre.

The Framework has been implemented within QC

The attached workbook holds the following information:

Sheet Wireframe-Page Mapping to Funcs
This sheet shows the mapping between eCare B Pages and functions
As function are added these will be reflect on here
The remaining sheets show the business functions based on existing
keywords.
These provide the test engineers with view of scope of each function.
Additions to the functions ca be requested through Mike Kimber
A separate data tables workbook is included to provide the data outlines
required by each function.
These files will stored in QC <Location to be confirmed>

 Worked Example 1

The following worked example is based on existing eCare B test:

01.08.01.01.06 To Verify whether the Contract Consumer can apply the International and
premium Bars for his or her CTN or not.

The example is made up of:

eCareB_Example_Test1.xls This is the examples keyword script

This is the scrip that the test engineer would produce in relation to the above
manual test steps
eCareB_Example_Data.xls This is the examples data
This is the data that will be used in Example test 1.
pseudo_eCareB_Business_Functions.xls This holds the business functions called
by Example_Test1
This file is held on slide 5.

The following worked example is based on existing eCare B test:

Test Script: The keyword test script defines the steps for the test. This script
eCareB_Example_Test1.xls calls two functions which use the related test data.

Test Function Library The function library holds all the related business functions <this
pseudo_eCareB_Business_Functions.xls will be expanded out to more than one workbook>. The functions
then get the required values from the data workbook.
