HDFC, ICICI, SBI, PNB
OBJECTIVE
Comparison of loan schemes with four banks HDFC, ICICI, SBI and PNB.
To study the main objective is to find out the tariff changes charges by other banks
in comparison to HDFC bank.
To study the variety of loan as compared to other banks, as they should promote
their bank loan in agriculture and rural sector with minimum documentation.
There should be easy repayment schedule which would help the HDFC bank to
make their recognize itself in financial.
Introduction on HDFC
Mr. Deepak S. Parekh is the Chairman of the Company. He is also the Chairman and
Director of Housing Development Finance Corporation Limited (HDFC Limited). He
joined HDFC Limited in a senior management position in 1978.
HDFC Bank (Housing Development Finance Corporation) is an Indian banking and
financial services company headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
It has 90,421 employees and has a presence in Bahrain, Hong Kong and Dubai.
HDFC Bank is Indias second-largest private sector lender by assets.
It is the largest bank in India by market capitalization as of February 2016.
It was ranked 69th in 2016 BrandZTM Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands.
In 1994 HDFC Bank was incorporated, with its registered office in Mumbai, India. Its
first corporate office and a full service branch at Sandoz House, Worli was inaugurated
by the then Union Finance Minister, Manmohan Singh.
As of December 31, 2016, the Banks distribution network was at 4,555 branches and
12,087 ATMs across 2,597 cities / towns.
Product and Services
Market leader in e-commerce, HDFC Bank provides a series of
digital offerings like - 10 second personal loan, Chillr, PayZapp,
SME Bank, Watch Banking, 30-Minute Auto Loan, 15-minute
Two-Wheeler Loan, e-payment gateways, Digital Wallet, etc.
HDFC Bank provides a number of products and services which
includes Wholesale banking, Retail banking, Treasury, Auto
(car) Loans, Two Wheeler Loans, Personal loans, Loan Against
Property and Credit Cards.
The latest entry in the league is 'Project AI',under which HDFC
Bank, over the next few weeks, would deploy robots at select
bank branches. These robots will offer options such as cash
withdrawal or deposit, forex, fixed deposits and demat services
displaying on the screen to persons coming into the branch.
SBI
State Bank of India(SBI) is an Indian
multinational,public sectorbanking andfinancial
servicescompany.

It is agovernment-owned corporationwith its
headquarters inMumbai, Maharashtra. As of 2016-17, it
had assets of30.72 trillion(US$460billion) and more
than 14,000 branches, including 191 foreign offices
spread across 36 countries, making it the largest
banking and financial services company in India by
assets.
The company is ranked 232nd on theFortune Global
500list of the world's biggest corporations as of 2016.
ICICI Bank
ICICI Bankis an Indian multinational banking and
financial servicescompany headquartered inVadodara.
As of 2014 it is the second largest bank in India in terms
of assets andmarket capitalization.
It offers a wide range of banking products and financial
services for corporate andretail customersthrough a
variety of delivery channels and specialized subsidiaries
in the areas of investment banking,life,non-life
insurance,venture capitalandasset management.
The Bank has a network of 4,450 branches and
14,404ATMsin India, and has a presence in 19
countries.
Punjab National Bank
Punjab National Bankis an Indian multinational banking and
financial services company. It is astate-owned corporationbased
inNew Delhi,India.
Founded in 1894, the bank has over 6,968 branches and over
9,935ATMsacross 764 cities. It serves over 80 million customers.
It has a banking subsidiary in theUK(PNB International Bank,
with seven branches in the UK), as well as branches inHong
Kong,Kowloon,DubaiandKabul.
It has representative offices
inAlmaty(Kazakhstan),Dubai(United Arab
Emirates),Shanghai(China),Oslo(Norway) and Sydney
(Australia). In Bhutan it owns 51% of Druk PNB Bank, which has
five branches. PNB owns 20% ofEverest Bank Limited, which has
50 branches inNepal. Lastly, PNB owns 84% of JSC (SB) PNB Bank
in Kazakhstan, which has four branches.
