FLIGHT COMPARTMENT / FLIGHT DECK/ COCKPIT

DEFINITION :

-A space, usually enclosed, in the forward fuselage of an

airplane containing the flying controls, instrument panel, and
seats for the pilot and co-pilot or FLIGHT CREW.

CDSS (Cockpit Door Surveillance System )

The Cockpit Door Surveillance System

(CDSS) allows the pilot and co-pilot to
view video images of the area outside
the Cockpit Door through a CDSS
Application. Special wiring and
hardware is required to access CDSS.

The systems will provide real-time

video monitoring.

The Cockpit Door Video Surveillance

System consists of a color display with
integrated video computer, three video
cameras and a system controller.

Viewing camera selection is

performed by touching the;

CABIN
COCKPIT and
GALLEY to activate a desired
camera.
