Introduction
The air jet weaving machines are supplied with compressed air from a central
compressor in the weave room or are equipped with individual built-in
compressors. The weft yarn is inserted by means of compressed air through the
channel of profile reed.

Specification of Compressed air :

- pressure: 5.5- 8 bar
- Oil concentration 0,1 mg/m;
- Pressure Dew Point 3C;
- Solid particles: max 100 articles/m
size d: 0,10m<d0,5m.

Higher production rate and weft insertion performance occurred. 2000 m/min
Noise level is lower and less power consumption in air jet loom.
Conjugated cams with cam followers
Warp beam dia: 805 mm- 1000 mm
Dia of cloth roll: standard 600 mm.
It needs multi-color weft insertion up to eight.
Light and medium weight fabric are produced here.
Automatic Relay Valve Drive system
Heavier yarns are more suitable for air-jet looms than lighter yarns.
1. Single hole Nozzle
The single-hole nozzles need to be adjusted by
hand.
These nozzles are recommended in case of a
dusty environment or low air quality.
More space reqd. nozzle to nozzle distances may
Relay Nozzle
vary.

2. Multi hole Nozzle

Very stable blowing angle.
The multi hole pattern allows also a more
efficient air stream, giving up to 15% higher yarn
speed for the same air consumption.
Requires less space between the warp yarns,
which prevents nozzle marks in your fabric.

Disadvantages of Air Jet Loom:

Due to high speed loose warp comes on fabric due to cut ends
Weft over 20Ne and specially ring slub yarns tear frequently.
Broken pick, miss pick or reverse pick has occurred due to excess
air pressure of main nozzle.
Double pick may occur.
Profile reed dent bends or damages creating spot in fabric.
Controlling of low twisted polyester filament yarn is too tough.
FD damaged frequently
Relay Nozzle damaged and have to keep clean regularly
