At one time recording the data
Second at the time analysis of data
Recording of Data
Documented editing & testing of the data at
the time of data recording is done considering
the following questions in mind.

3.Have variable descriptions bean specified
4.Have labels for data names
5.Have value labels been defined & written
At the time of Analysis of data
1.Is the coding frame complete
2.Is the documentary sufficient
3.Is the storage medium readable & reliable
4.Has the correct data set been framed
CODING
Coding process assigns numerals or other
symbols to the several responses of the data
set. The recording of the data is done on the
basis of this coding scheme
TABULATION
Tabulation can be done manually or through
the computer. The choice depends the size &
type of study.

INTERPRETATION [Cxgu]
Interpretation takes the results of analysis makes
inferences & draws conclusions about the results
