Alexei Ananenko, Valeri Bezpalov, and Boris Baranov didn't prevent the
Chernobyl disaster; they prevented something much, much worse.

Real life situation

Alexei Ananenko, Valeri Bezpalov and Boris

Baranov were the most bravest persons on
Earth. They were called the Chernobyl suicide
squad members. They saved millions of lives
by risking their lives.

If not for the work of three brave men, we

may have lost millions of lives instead.
My Knowledge issue
To what extent can a person be judged based on his knowledge?

RELATION OF MY KQ TO MY RLS:

Taking such Decisions was not a easy task for the Chernobyl suicide squad
members, they would have gone through a serious INTUITIVE feeling. JUDGING
someones decision is not a easy task, it needs a lot of values to put in. In my RLS
one of the member Alexei Ananenko was the only person left, Who knew
WHERE the valve is but EVEN after that he took the decision of saving millions of
lives. DOES the decision taken by him show the LOVE towards the HUMAN
SOCIETY?
AOKs I can use to evaluate MY Knowledge question :

ETHICS

INDIGENIOUS KNOWLEDGE SYSTEMS

Woks I can use to evaluate MY Knowledge question :

EMOTION

INTUITION

REASON
AOK and WOK
ETHICS CLAIM1#

DEONTOLOGY: This was their duty to protect the country from any disaster. Alexei Ananenko once said

"How could I do that when I was the only person on the shift who knew where the valves were located?"

INTUITION CLAIM1#

They're all heroes, but these three men knew they'd die; they did it anyway, saving the lives of hundreds
of thousands. THIS INTUITIVE FEELING MADE THEM TO BE THE GREATEST.

ETHICS COUNTERCLAIM1#

Virtue Ethics: How can the moral be judged even if the Outcome is a BAD one. And irrespective of the DUTY.

INTUITION COUNTERCLAIM1#

Ones intuition tells that By an act SOMEONE knows that HE will DIE is Giving THE way to SUICIDE. And which
is wrong.
AOK and WOK
ETHICS CLAIM2#

UTILITARANISM: The maximum benefit for the country instead of loosing 3 lives.

EMOTION CLAIM2#

The first reason might be to save millions of lives. Didnt their emotion towards their family played any role.

ETHICS COUNTERCLAIM2#

Should the acts made by the individuals conform to utility (act utilitarianism).

EMOTION COUNTERCLAIM2#

It was good that the military will fund if THEY die, but was that enough for the family members instead for loosing
sole bread earner.

MY KQ - To what extent can a person be judged based on his knowledge?

MY KQ

To what extent can a person be judged based on his knowledge?

AOK and WOK

INDIGENOUS KNOWLEDGE SYSTEM CLAIM3#

To whom should we blame the knowledge, Of Taking such decision OR The knowledge given by the society.

REASON CLAIM3# INDUCTIVE REASONING

THE REASON can SHOW THe YOUNG GENERATION A NEW DIRECTION

INDIGENOUS KNOWLEDGE SYSTEM COUNTERCLAIM3#

BLAMEING the DUTY Is a BETTER option. Because Duty for the country is always TAUGHT to the SOLDIERS.

REASON COUNTERCLAIM3#

WONT the REASON STATED EFFECT the young GENERATION in taking such Decisions.
CONCLUSION
NONE of THEM lived. By the time the men surfaced from under the reactor,
all three were showing signs of severe radiation poisoning. Tragically, none
of them survived for more than a few weeks. BUT they Created a HISTORY.

Alexei Ananenko, Valeri Bezpalov, and Boris Baranov didn't prevent the Chernobyl
disaster; they prevented something much, much worse.

The truth is that heroes are all around us. Teachers, health care workers,
and just everyday people are and have the capacity to be heroes in their
own right. No capes needed, just a little faith in the human spirit.
