memory and other cognitive abilities serious enough to interfere with daily life. Alzheimer's is a also a form of dementia like many others but this is one of the most common one due its cause being a very common phenomena . Alzheimers is a disease of the brain that causes problems with memory, thinking and behavior. It is not a normal part of aging. Alzheimers keeps increasing along with time. Even its symptoms may vary widely from person to person. The basic symptom is to forget very basic things in their routine life Scientists assume that Alzheimer's is a disease where parts of brain cells stop working and this causes the brain to lose actions like memory in the beginning and many later. This process slowly causes plaques and tangles from certain part of brain and slowly spread among other regions. In early stage This is considered as a mild/early stage and the duration period is 2-4 years. Frequent recent memory loss, particularly of recent conversations and events. Repeated questions, some problems expressing and understanding language. Writing and using objects become difficult and depression and apathy can occur. Drastic personality changes may accompany functional decline. Need reminders for daily activities and difficulties with sequencing impact driving early in this stage. Next stage This is considered as a middle/moderate stage and the duration is 2-10 years. Can no longer cover up problems. Pervasive and persistent memory loss impacts life across settings. Rambling speech, unusual reasoning, confusion about current events, time, and place. Potential to become lost in familiar settings, sleep disturbances, and mood or behavioral symptoms accelerate. Moderate stage Increased memory loss and confusion. Problems recognizing family and friends. Inability to learn new things. Difficulty carrying out tasks that involve multiple steps (such as getting dressed). Problems coping with new situations. Delusions and paranoia. Impulsive behavior. Last stage This is considered as the severe stage and the duration is 1-3 years. Confused about past and present. Loss of recognition of familiar people and places Generally incapacitated with severe to total loss of verbal skills. Unable to care for self. Falls possible and immobility likely. Problems with swallowing, incontinence, and illness. Extreme problems with mood, behavioral problems, hallucinations, and delirium. Patients need total support and care, and often die from infections or pneumonia Age this is one of the most important aspects as after certain age 65 yrs for most people they are tend to get effected by this. Family history if anyone has a 1st degree relation with the person effected by Alzheimer's also has chances of getting affected. Genetic there is enough research evidence to establish that this problem can occur genetically and one such gene is Apolipoprotein E (APOE)-e4 Gene Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI)- this is a state of person and the chances of mci people getting Alzheimer's is present very widely. Cardiovascular Disease Risk Factors- certain research says that growing risk to heart also has effect on brain Social and Cognitive Engagement- social inactivity causes the risk of getting effected. Education- lack of formal education will increase the risk of Alzheimer's Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)- a heavy blow or jolt on head may cause Alzheimer's but is a very rare phenomenon. THERE IS NO CURE FOR THIS.
