- The measurement output from sara data logger are mtn file type
that cant read in geopsy
- So we convert this mtn file type to mseed file type
Open mtn_files folder
Look for doit.bat file, right click, choose edit
Will appear dialog box like picture below
Name of
the
converter
4 last number is the mesurement time begin for each sensor
For every triangle measurement begin in the same time,
example triangle 1 (sensor N1, W1, E1, C1)
North sensor
Central sensor
The result will appear, outside the mtn_files folder as mseed files
Insert the sensor`s coordinates
Open mseed_files that already converted in geopsy
click load,
choose coordinate file
Will apeear
Choose OK twice
Grouping the measurement in
each triangle file
Open C1, N1, W1, E1 for the first triangle
Klik file, export
Choose miniseed file type, click ok and write the file name, save
Do the same step for the next triangle
Using spac menu in geopsy
Open triangle file that we had grouping before
Drag the first triangle file to SPAC menu
Then make ring to measure the correlation signal of every pairs
of sensor
Choose SPAC toolbox, ring, click add
Input min and max to make two ring
Klik optimize, that two ring become so close like in the picture
below
Choose output,
We can choose the result
folder place by choose it in
Output file menu
The picking shape depends on the absis and ordinat of the graph
- For the Slowness (S) vs frequency (F) picking shape must be
F
PICKING THE CURVE
After finished make line pick, right click and choose pick to
unactive the picking and finished the first curve picking
Do the same step to make 3 or more curve picking
Calculate the average of 3 picking curve
Click average, choose all curve and OK
Save the picking
Using DINVER
- Inversion program to make the velocity and depth model from
the dispersion curve that we had picking before
Open dinver program
And we can save this new smoothing picking curve using save in
action button
INSERT THE PARAMETER MODEL FOR INVERSION
