Know and understand the nature, history and purpose of
the six beliefs of faith in Sunni Islam

Know and understand how the six beliefs are expressed

in Sunni Muslim communities today
 Use page 81 of your large text books to create a poster
about the Six Articles of Sunni Islam.

Include detail about each of the articles with a drawing

to help you remember.

You will be assigned one of these beliefs by your

teacher. Be ready to share your knowledge of it with the
class.

Remember Sunni has 5 letters + 1 = 6 Articles of Faith

 Belief in:
God
Angels
Revealed Books
Messengers of God
Day of Judgement
Pre-destination

God was telling the Angels about how he had

Revealed Books to the Messengers of God. They
included information about the Day of Judgement
and Pre-destination.

Can you think of a way to remember the Six Pillars of

Sunni Islam.
 Answer the question on page 82.
