Transmission Oil Supply

Oil is drawn from the transmission sump through a screen


into the transmission pump. From the pump, oil goes to the
control valve, torque converter, oil cooler, return filter and
transmission lube circuits.

reduce wear on the clutches.

In case of overheating, a sending unit in the oil sum turns on a


warning icon on the dash display.

A transmission oil cooler is located in the radiator.
