• Purchasing: This is a very important
function in the logistics
management as the quality of
inputs that are purchased
determines the quality of the
finished product. Vendor selection
is an important sub-process of this
function.
• They have vendors in and out of

purchasing of raw material


• Warehousing: This logistics activity
involves management of the locations
where the firm's inventories are stored.
• They will maintain some inventory for
themselves for 2 days so they can meet
some sudden requirements ( tentative
requirement by the customer).

requirement

• Inventory and raw material handling:

meet their requirement.

requirements needed to move the firm's
freight is very effective in Lear.

• Customer Service: All the activities that
are done to keep the existing
customers( M & M ) satisfied come under
the gamut(entire range) of customer
service.
• M & M fallow just-in-time so they fallow
their supply using just-in-time.
• Their outward movement for the finished
products were based on the trigger
(online) received from the
customer( Mahindra & Mahindra).
• They will get a trigger(signal) before 2 hours
so they have to finish their product and
