POTENTIAL SIGNIFICANT IMPACT AND

MITIGATION MEASURES

Impact – ( Pre-construction Stage )
• Lodging trees ( surrounding area – bushes and trees)
- presence tree to the surrounding area.
- these activities cause the soil erosion to nearby area

fauna (consists of beetles, cicadas, birds, rats, bats and possible
snakes )
• Construction dust
- site clearing of the proposed project and the movement of the vehicle
such as dump truck, backhoe machine
- resulting the formation of dust to the nearby existing development
- air quality impact to become low and cause air pollution towards the
surrounding area.
Impact – (Construction Stage)
• Noise pollution and vibration
- during the construction stage will be the main problem towards the
existing development surrounding this area.

- would be exceed the limits by DOE Noise Ordinance during the

construction and lodging activities

- harmful towards the resident and surrounding of the nearby

construction site.
• Mobilization of heavy vehicle
- Machinery and equipment will be mobilized to the site especially for
site clearing purposes and earthwork phase (cut and fill in proposed
platform)

- occurs mobilization heavy equipment to the site will cause

disturbance towards the residential areas & traffic slow moving
vehicles are occurred.

- May resulted potential accident due to compacted resident

• Temporary occupation (working flow)
- Required medium generators sets installed for power generator. Using
fuel in daily basis and emissions in the form of 𝑁𝑂𝑥 and 𝑆𝑂𝑥

- Estimate that 15 – 20 construction workers will be employed.

- Assuming each worker generates 10 gpd of sewage, it is estimated

that 150 gpd of sewage will be generated from A the construction
workforce
• Construction of Building and Infrastructure
- involve construction of the buildings required in the development
parcel
- 8 hour exposure above 90 dB(A) can be detrimental to the residential
communities

- The quantity of the wastes generated is anticipated to be small and

major bulk of waste will consist of plastic material.

- Improper disposal of the construction wastes will contaminate land

besides the aesthetic repercussions.
Occupational Stage
• Generation of Domestic Wastes - Domestic wastes will be generated
once the Proposed Project is occupied which will have to be managed
and disposed
 The domestic wastes are estimated to consist of kitchen waste (41%),
paper (14%), plastic (12%), grass and wood (17%) and metal (4%).

 It is estimated that 0.5 tonne per day of domestic wastes will be

generated from full occupancy of the residential units.
• Human environment
- Generate more employment opportunities to the local community

-Increase in number or residential unit and facilities / infrastructure,

quality of life, business opportunity as well as population.

-In-migration of families and transient population form various

background may give rise to socio-cultural issues
