K-5 th Grade Student Tech Board
• Find and compile a list of apps/tools to use in the classroom
• Students provided with a list of topics/kid-friendly standards for
each grade level
• Students will explain rationale for using the tool in the classroom
• Share tools with teachers

• 4-6 dedicated, knowledgeable students per grade level (chosen based off of
interest survey as well as teacher recommendation)
• Every Monday during recess (30 minutes)

• Access to Borowy’s computers and Media’s I-Pads
• 5th graders responsible for sharing tools in an organized google folder that all
teachers have access to
• Teachers will attend a technology PD once a month where students will discuss
the tools they found and together they will plan a lesson using a tool.
