Strengths
● Crossbridge is a safe and modern
environment for all patients in Montgomery
and surrounding areas.
● Provides specialized care for adults and
geriatric patients.
● Provides specialized care in patients who are
seeking treatment for addiction.
Weaknesses
● Crossbridge does not accept patients who are 19 or
under and does not offer emergency services within
the same facility.
● Crossbridge is the only inpatient facility for
Montgomery and surrounding areas, this means
there is limited space for patients in this facility, as
well as limited staff to take care of patients.
Opportunities
● The partnership Baptist has with UAB could potentially create more
facilities for those in need of behavioral health treatment.
● By creating more facilities for these group of patients, this could also
create more jobs for nurses and healthcare professionals who
specialize in behavioral health.
● This would also better help the citizens of Alabama who are in need of
professional help who are unable to receive treatment.
Threats
● Because Crossbridge is the only inpatient behavioral
healthcare facility, this could cause future problems if
they became understaffed or something tragic
happened, making the building no longer capable for
providing patient care.
● The limited space could potentially create hostile
competition among admission staff.
