1. INTRODUC
TION
All living thing adapt to their surroundings and although buildings are
inanimate, it is on this point that nature and architecture may have the most in
common. In their design most architect take advantage of terrain, view,
preveiling wind, surface drainage available sunlight and shade, color and other
aspects of the surrounding. Building may open outwardly as well as inwardly.

Geometry
Geometry according to the book of encyclopedia britannica,
geometry can exist without architecture but architecture cannot
exist
Which without geometry.
means that geometry has 3 dimensions of space that have a
sturdy structure in shape. Geometry is part of the architecture
and complements the architecture so that the architecture will
be nothing without geometry.
ARCHITECTURE, PAINTING,
AND SCULPTURE
Architecture space must serve the needs of
human with some requirements: the floor must
be level, stairs must be straight, the law of
gravity must be respected, the building must
be buildable.
Architectural surfaces be built up through
the repetition of identical pieces and
processes, such as the laying up of a brick
wall. If every piece is different, both
manufacturing process and the assembly
process are impractical. These processes are
normally learned and perfected for use on
more than just one building.
Painting will relied on refined proportions
of rectangles and squares
Nature and
Architecture
The enjoyment and appreciation of nature as
an experience leads, naturaly enough to
associations with architecture.
Distinction Between Plane and
Solid Geometry
In Architecture, the rules of both plane and solid geometry
apply to 3 dimentional shapes and spaces. When thickness is
addes, plane geometrics become rooms, buildings, and open
spaces.
There is little that can be called plane geometry in
architecture.
The volumes of architecture follow the rules of solid geometry,
even rooms and buildings are not solids but voids.
