ORIGIN AND HISTORY

 Shriram Transport Finance company Limited was incorporated in the year


1979.
 The company has a network of 1,121 Branch Offices & 930 Rural Centres
 Deposit taking NBFC with Reserve Bank of India.
 STFC decided to finance the much neglected Small Truck Owner.
 They provided to fund for Pre-owned Trucks.

The "SHRIRAM" conglomerate which has significant


presence in financial services .

repayment/ prepayment of interest and principal of existing
borrowings of the Company

Its total revenue during the reported


quarter increased by 19.91 percent to Rs
3,739.85 Crore,from Rs 3,118.68 Crore in
the same period year ago,Shriram
transport finance company (STF)said in a
BSE filing.
