 Data collection was not easy; due to wrong numbers,
number does not exist and blacklisted.
 People do not co-operate with marketing executives
and they don’t have free minutes to answer.
 Some people directly refused to co- operate and some
gave biased and dishonest replies.
 Time, Money and other Resources also acted as a
barrier.
 E-mails started going in spam
 Mobile numbers got blocked through the medium of
TRAI.
 Learning from Internship
program
 1. The internship program helped in enhancing formal verbal communication- Cold calling,Field visits
and email marketing. This is very important for the intern to learn as after enteringinto corporates they’ll
have to formal everywhere. This also includes the way ofcommunication with the top-level managers.
 2. Understanding the consumer behaviour- What they want, at what price, expectations and emotions.
Every customer is different, thus pitching for everyone has to be unique andcustomized.
 3. Discovering leadership quality- Headed a team of 8 interns as team leader. It was a hugeresponsibility
as team leader is held accountable for the results of its team. Thus, team wereproperly guided and all the
necessary assistance were provided to ensure the maximum productivity. This was also taken into
consideration that all team member is delegated with the task in which they are good at.

subscription and many more.
 5. Patience- Sales is not that easy as its seems to be, patience is important. It’s not alwaysnecessary that
if customer is interested then he will definitely buy. There’s a lot of struggle inconverting a follow up.
Sometime it may take too long.
 6. Corporate culture- This internship helped me to take a glimpse of how corporates functionsi.e.
Understanding delegation of authority, accountability, pay structure etc.
 7. Team Work- Being between 40 interns everyday helped me to cooperate and work as a team.
 8. Pressure handling- Being sales personnel, there’s always a pressure from the seniors to achieve sales
targets, this project helped me in staying calm even in my worst situations in office.
 9. Consumer is King- If you succeed in making your customer satisfied then he/she will surely come
back to you. If their doubts and problems are duly acknowledged then customer never hesitates in
renewing their subscription.
 10. Value of Money: It’s not easy to earn money. I have been entitled with commission of 10% on my
