The Girl Who Came Back to Life

La Niña que Volvió a la Vida

One day, Jesus
was walking
with His
disciples when a
priest named
Jairus came to
see Him.
Un día, Jesús
estaba
caminando con
Sus discípulos
cuando un
sacerdote
llamado Jairo
vino a verlo.
Jairus was very sad. “Master,” Jairus said, “please come see my daughter. She is very
sick and might die. Will You please come pray for her so that she will be healed?”

Jairo estaba muy triste. "Maestro," dijo Jairo, "por favor venga a ver a mi hija. Ella
está muy enferma y podría morir.  Por favor ven y ora por ella para que se cure. "
 Jesus and His disciples went to
Jairus’ house, but when they
arrived at the house, Jairus’ wife
came to meet them with tears in
her eyes.
Jesús y sus discípulos fueron con
Jairo a su casa, pero cuando
llegaron, la esposa de Jairo salió a
su encuentro con lágrimas en los
ojos. 

“It is too late,” she said. “Our little girl is dead.”

“Don’t cry,” Jesus told her. “Your daughter is not
dead. She is only sleeping.”

"Es demasiado tarde", dijo. "Nuestra niña está

muerta.“
"No llores", le dijo Jesús. “Tu hija no está muerta. 
Ella sólo esta durmiendo.”
Jesus, Jairus, and Jairus’ wife went inside the house. The little girl lay very still on
her bed. Jesus bent down and held out His hand. “Little girl,” Jesus said, “get up.”

Jesús, Jairo y su esposa entraron en la casa. La niña estaba acostada en su

cama. Jesús, inclinándose, le tendió la mano. "Niñita", Jesús dijo: "levántate".
Immediately, the little girl opened her eyes. She was alive, and her health was
restored! Jairus and his wife were so happy to see their little girl well and healthy
again!
Inmediatamente, la niña abrió los ojos. Ella estaba viva, y su salud se
restableció! Jairo y su esposa estaban muy felices de ver a su niña bien y sana de
nuevo!
