y The Human Resource Information System(HRIS) Is a method by which

an organization collects, analyses and reports information about its people and jobs.

y HRIS is basically a data base system that offers important information

about employees in a central and accessible location.


y When such information is needed, the data can be retrieved and used to

facilitate human resource planning decisions.

According to DR. S. Chandrasekhar, HRIS consists of the following sub-system. y Recruitment Information y Personnel Administration Information y Manpower Planning Information y Training Information y Health Information y Appraisal Information y Payroll Information y Personnel Research Information

y The personnel record, when kept manually, do not offer up-to-date

information at short notice.

y The manual transfer of data from one record to another may increase

the chances of error.

y The clerical work involved is quit labour-intensive and costly. y The manual analysis of data is time-consuming and quit often not

readily available for decision-making purpose.

y Information is not available at a central, easily accessible place since

records are kept at separate location, handled by different person in different departments.

y To supply up-to-date information at a reasonable cost. y To offer an adequate and comprehensive information system about

human resources.
y To offer data security through passwords and elaborate codes. Thus, it

helps in maintaining privacy.


y For large organization that employ very large number of people, it

becomes necessary to employ HRIS.

y In geographically dispersed company, every office requires timely and accurate information about manpower. If information is stored in multiple location, cost and inaccuracy will increase.

y With the help of a computerized information system, employee records and files can be integrate for fast retrieval, cross-referencing.

To ease the communication between the employees & the managerial authority. To reduce paper works, used in employee management records. To save time consuming in communication between employees and HR.  HRM helps organizations handle their payroll and time management needs in a more efficient and cost effective manner.

 HRM benefits are well suited to any business, small or large, with one or more locations.

This website is helpful for the HR department of the companies. This ease the employee management for a company. Employee can know their attendance of monthly and yearly, They can see their salary reports and benefits like taxpaying, new events, recruitments, promotions, etc.

Policies

Payroll

Pay Stub (PS) Amendments provide a method to make changes to employee pay stubs that can't be performed automatically with the "Tax /Deduction" system.  For example issuing bonuses, advances, employee loans, petty cash or other reimbursements. Taxes / Deductions allow you to define specific calculations or formulas for modifying employee salary
