CCOA: CLOUD COMPUTING OPEN ARCHITECTURE

ABSTRACT
Main Objective is Sharing of resources Sharing of resources include Infrastructures, Software, Applications, Business Process CC platforms formally not adapted SOA(Service Oriented Architecture) Open Architecture presents customizable CC

CCOA: CLOUD COMPUTING OPEN ARCHITECTURE

INRODUCTION
Major objective is to leverage Internet or Intranet provision resources to users CC provides environments to enable resource sharing in terms of Scalable Infrastructures Middleware & Application Development Platforms Value-added business applications

CCOA: CLOUD COMPUTING OPEN ARCHITECTURE

OSI Model for CC
3 Objectives helps in defining a good Open Architecture for CC To articulate a reusable way of creating scalable and configurable provisioning platform To propose a set of common and shared services for building CC platforms To maximize the potential business value of CC

SEVEN PRINCIPLES OF CC ARCHITECTURE

1.Integrated Ecosystem Management for Cloud
Ecosystem includes Vendors, Partners, End Users Cloud Vendors expose its interaction interfaces Cloud Partners provides components to vendors Cloud Clients are users of Cloud Services

SEVEN PRINCIPLES OF CC ARCHITECTURE

2.Virtualization and Cloud Infrastructure
Two basic approaches for enabling virtualization Hardware Virtualization- To manage hardware equipments in plug-and-play mode. Software Virtualization- Enable the Software sharing.

SEVEN PRINCIPLES OF CC ARCHITECTURE

3.Service-Orientation for Common Reusable Services
There are two major types of common reusable services Cloud Horizontal Business Services- Hide the complexities of middleware, database and tools. Cloud Vertical Business Services- Domain specific or industry specific utility services.

SEVEN PRINCIPLES OF CC ARCHITECTURE

4.Extensible provisioning and Subscription for Cloud
It is a unique feature of Cloud Computing System. This implies the service provisioning architecture for free-use users, paying users. It addresses a key question of how to handle service providers.

SEVEN PRINCIPLES OF CC ARCHITECTURE

5.Configurable Enablement for Cloud Offerings
All cloud offerings should address certain business goals. CCOA defines offering aspects at four levels: Infrastructure as a Service Software as a Service(SaaS) Application as a Service Business Process as a Service

SEVEN PRINCIPLES OF CC ARCHITECTURE

6.Unified Information Representation and Exchange Framework
Information Representation and Message Exchange of CC resources are very important to enable collaborative and effective features of CC. Modules in cloud represents cloud entities. Messages exchanged between cloud entities form Message Exchange Patterns.

SEVEN PRINCIPLES OF CC ARCHITECTURE

7.Cloud Quality and Governance
This is responsible for the Identification and Definition of quality indicators for CC environment This also set a normative guidance to govern the Design Deployment Operation Management

CASE STUDIES OF CCOA

1.Infrastructure Cloud
We build our own private cloud to enable computing resource sharing. This offer service requesters a pay-to-use model to provide servers with a selected set of preinstalled packages. By this time is shortened for production based on request submissions.

CASE STUDIES OF CCOA

2.Business Cloud
Here it covers all the scenarios of business process as a service in CC environment. A lot of scenarios requires human intelligence to analyze the summary report by validating the findings and regenerate a report

CLOUD COMPUTING IN SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE

System Architecture is the collection of independent components that are connected or interacted through well defined connectors. One component can interact with another set of defined agreements. Enterprise Architecture is a kind of architecture in which there are collections of enterprises as components and the interrelation among them as connectors.

CLOUD COMPUTING SECURITY ISSUES

1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. Security Privacy Reliability Legal Issues Open Standard Compliance Freedom Long-term Viability -how secure the data are? -does cloud provides piracy? -does fluctuations resist? -are the data confidential? -helps in critical growth of CC -can sustain readily change? -users shouldnt possess data -can recover its potentiality?

SOLUTION
Encrypt the data with your own keys and make sure that a vendor is ready for security certifications and external audits. Identity management, access control, reporting of security incidents, personnel and physical layer management should be evaluated before you select. Organizations need to run applications and data transfer in their own private cloud and then transmute it into public cloud.

CONCLUSION
We have proposed the CCOA based on Seven Architectural Principles, by Integrating power of SOA and Virtualization Technology of Hardware and Software. The case studies have shown that proposed CCOA is an extensible and configurable architecture for providing normative guidance and enabling Infrastructure, Software, Application, and Business Process Sharing in a unified manner with enough security provided.
