Steven Paul "Steve" Jobs (born February 24, 1955) is an American entrepreneur and inventor. He is co-founder, chairman, and former chief executive officer of Apple INC Jobs also previously served as chief executive of Pixar Animation studio He became a member of the board of directors of The Walt Disney Company in 2006, following the acquisition of Pixar by Disney.

In the late 1970s, Jobs, with Apple cofounder Steve Wozniak, Mike and others, designed, developed, and marketed one of the first commercially successful lines of personal computers, the Apple II series.
After losing a power struggle with the board of directors in 1985,[ Jobs resigned from Apple and founded NeXT, a computer platform development company specializing in the higher-education and business markets

Apple's subsequent 1996 buyout of NeXT brought Jobs back to the company he cofounded, and he served as its CEO from 1997 until 2011 On August 24, 2011, Jobs announced his resignation from his role as Apple's CEO

Much has been made of Jobs' aggressive and demanding personality. Fortune wrote that he "is considered one of Silicon Valley's leading egomaniacs

He was awarded the National Medal of Technology from President Ronald Reagan in 1984 On November 5, 2009, Jobs was named the CEO of the decade by Fortune Magazine

Even though Jobs earned only $1 a year as CEO of Apple, he holds 5.426 million Apple shares, as well as 138 million shares in Disney. Forbes has estimated his net wealth at $8.3 billion in 2010, making him the 42nd wealthiest American

Jobs is listed as either primary inventor or co-inventor in 338 US patents Such as ipad, iphone, ipod , ipad 2 etc

One of the great things about Steve Jobs is what comes out of his mouth.
