Production Agenda & Timelines *
Once you are officially scheduled as part of the series, A Project Coordinator will be assigned to secure materials
needed in the development of various production elements which include: completed participant profile form,
product literature, artwork, and 3 donated samples of the product if appropriate. also, we recommend that any
artwork and company logos are sent via CD/DVD, Zip disk, Transparencies, or E-mail all in hi-resolution format.
(10-15 days)
The Scheduling Fee is your only financial commitment to QP. This confirms your timely involvement in the QP
project, grants you topical exclusivity, and helps to offset some of the pre-production costs of the project. QP is
responsible for all other costs associated with production: Media Placement, Print advertising and the Internet.
Private funding, sponsorships and advertising sales revenues enable QP to fund the program. (30 days)
Once QP receives all form submissions, our writing team will develop a press release announcing the relationship.
The press release will be placed on the News Link section of our QP website and distributed through a
combination of national consumer publications, trade publications and trade journals. The assigned writers will
also begin to develop a first draft of your segment script. Both press release and segment script will require your
approval prior to production and distribution of the Program. (30-60 days)
Producers work hand-in-hand with editors and graphic artists to combine elements for completing the final edit.
QP’s post-production includes, but is not limited to: music, animation, graphics, voice-overs, and other forms of
final editing. Because of edit scheduling, it is not possible to have companies present during the editing session.
(90-120 days)
Once the segment is approved to air, then the producers will position the segment in a program to air on TLC (The
Learning Channel), one national airing on WE (Women’s Entertainment), and 18 additional airings on a
combination of network affiliates for ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, PAX, UPN, cable affiliates, and/or cable networks, in
order to obtain a minimum potential reach of 80 million households. You will receive a media schedule of the
program airings.
* All time tables are estimates and subject to change based on availability of your staff and your timely cooperation and compliance to deadlines and schedules.
